West Dakota Rose from Wyatt Ellis

Teen mandolin wunderkind Wyatt Ellis is back with a new single, another crafty instrumental written by his teacher and friend Christopher Henry, who joins Ellis on this track.

It’s a Bill Monroe-inspired tune called West Dakota Rose, which is given a powerful presentation from Wyatt, along with a solid ensemble of backing musicians. Henry is on guitar, with Noah Goebel and Christian Ward adding twin fiddles, Kyle Tuttle plays banjo, and Sarah Griffin is on bass.

At only 16 years of age, our young Mr. Ellis is already an established artist on the bluegrass scene, working in a schedule of touring and recording while completing his studies. A career in music lays wide open before him.

Give West Dakota Rose a listen.

West Dakota Rose is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
