Pinecastle Records is putting forward The Life of Jesus as a Christmas single for Ashleigh Graham, one of the tracks on her current debut album, I’ll Just Drive.
The Life of Jesus, written by Rickey Graves, is for those who celebrate the original and true meaning of the Christmas season. It is just as the title suggests, a retelling in song of the birth, life, ministry, passion, and death of our Saviour. But we know the rest of the story as well.
Graham sings lead and plays mandolin, with Scott Patrick on guitar, Stephen Burwell on fiddle, Matt Leadbetter on reso-guitar, and Kameron Keller on bass. They give the song a new acoustic feel, with a nice jam section in the middle.
