South Carolina’s King James Boys are back with a new gospel single, one written by Rick Lang and Troy Engle called Power of Prayer.
It’s another from their current Get A Transfer album with Pinecastle Records, which guitarist and lead vocalist Randy Spencer says they kept simple on purpose.
“Power of Prayer is a song that we stripped down musically so the message can shine through. Power of Prayer reminds the listener that when life becomes more than we can handle, we have a direct line to God through prayer. Through prayer we can find peace and strength to help us in ways that we could have never imagined possible.”
King James Boys have been singing bluegrass gospel since 1994, and they report that this most recent album have been doing especially well, with a number of #1 songs on multiple charts.
In addition to Randy, the track features bandmates Curtis Lewis on banjo, Will Hart on mandolin, and Cole Spencer on bass.
Give it a listen.
Power of Prayer is available now from popular download and streaming serviced online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
