The celebration of life for Pammy Davis Lassiter was held Saturday, February 7, at Circle M City, Sanford, NC, where she faithfully jammed with many other musician friends and with her doting husband, Rolo “Big T” Lassiter. It was beautiful and memorable with so many of her family and bluegrass friends on hand to honor her memory, achievements, and contributions to High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association and North Carolina Bluegrass.

Several bands concocted of many friends that had previously played with or had been mentored by Pammy through the years. Each band played a few songs each, as everyone shared wonderful tributes, food, and enjoyed the music.

Thanks to all who made gifts in her memory by joining High Lonesome Strings and to the Still Us Foundation. We thank everyone for buying one of her hats or other belongings that she once wore with such style and pride. Thanks to Elizabeth Greeson for all her dedication and for sharing her love for Pammy, and passion for High Lonesome Strings.

We are ever so grateful for the support and love that has been shown all around to everyone who will miss seeing Pammy’s beautiful, bright smile.

Let’s keep Big T and Pammy’s family in our thoughts and prayers as they move forward.

Be more like Pammy!
