Just Country from Backline

We’ve written many times about South Carolina’s Backline, and their fine lead singer and chief songwriter, Katelyn Ingardia. They possess a truly fresh sound that well exemplifies positive contemporary bluegrass.

Now with Mountain Fever Records, the band has a new single, Just Country, which demonstrates all the attributes that have won them praise, from audiences and critics alike. Written and sung by Katelyn, it’s a song about home, and how no matter where she travels in life, there’s always a longing to return to where life is simple and things make sense.

With Ingardia on guitar, support comes from Jacob Carrol on banjo, David Heavner on mandolin, Chris Williamson on bass, and Jeff Partin on guitar, reso-guitar, and harmony vocals.

Have a listen.

Just Country is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
