NewFound Road, reunited for a 25th anniversary tour this year, has announced that they are being sponsored by the Hopeless Holler Trading Co.
Led as they have been for 25 years by lead vocalist and guitarist Tim Shelton, NewFound Road has long been noted for their creative material, powerful sound, and strong singing. With banjo/guitar man Jr. Williams serving as a second lead vocalist and harmony singer, Joe Booher on mandolin and harmony vocals, Ethan Ratliff on guitar, and Sam Lauderbaugh on bass, they are poised to bring new music forward on an album for Billy Blue Records in the near future.
Hopeless Holler is a printing and design shop in Advance, IN that offers all sorts of printing services, including digital printing, embroidery, laser engraving, canvas printing, and more with a specialty in helping bluegrass artists with their merchandising efforts. A great many popular touring acts work with the Holler, like The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Caroline Owens, The Grascals, and the BanjoRadio.com streaming service.
Shelton says that he was already working with these folks before he knew of their bluegrass connection.
“I actually started out as a customer of Hopeless Holler Trading Co. It turns out the owners, Nathan and Lisa, were fans of NewFound Road and we sort of struck up a friendship, and then came discussions of partnerships and sponsorship of our 25th Anniversary tour!
They’re great, and we are very excited to be working with them.”
