Bonfire Music Group has released a music video for Irish American bluegrass artist Danny Burns and his current single, Does My Ring Burn Your Finger.
Readers may remember the song as a hit for Lee Ann Womack in 2000, but Danny has given it a darker reading, courtesy of Nashville super pickers like Cody Kilby on guitar, Sam Bush on mandolin, Matt Menefee on banjo, Billy Contreras on fiddle, Ethan Burkhardt on bass, Justin Moses on reso-guitar, and Jerry Roe on drums.
The video follows suit, shot in a gritty black and white at Nashville’s Drake Motel, showing Burns alone with his anger and frustration ruminating on the unfaithful spouse in the song.
It’s a powerful track, and the video echoes it perfectly.
