Auld Lang Syne from The Price Sisters and Scott Napier

Happy New Year everyone!

The Price Sisters (Lauren and Leanna) and Scott Napier filmed this lovely rendition of Auld Lang Syne, the traditional sendoff as one year trades places with the next, as a New Year’s wish to the whole bluegrass community. It was shot on stage at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro, KY.

The song traces back to the iconic Scottish poet, Robert Burns, who wrote the lyrics as a poem in 1788. It was soon set to a local tune, and these days, the English-language version is sung all over the world.
