A good many of our readers have become fans of The Arizona Wildflowers, a young family band from Casa Grande, AZ. The group is made up of the uniquely talented Dietrich sisters, and often their little brother and sister as well.
They are headed up by 17-year-old Ranelle, who plays fiddle, guitar, and mandolin, and is a fine vocalist, with sisters Brie (16) on guitar, and Aspen (14) of fiddle. All three sing, and harmonize beautifully together. Brother Sawyer is 11, and accompanies them on bass, with baby sister Isley (9) popping out from time to time.
All of the Dietrichs are also champion rodeo riders, with multiple barrel belts from events in the southwest, to go along with their fiddle trophies.
They were asked to sing the national anthem at the recent Roots N’ Boots rodeo in Queen Creek, AZ, and have shared this video of the older sisters harmonizing it all the way through.
