Introducing Acoustic Social Club with Tina Adair and Kim Fox

Posted on February 27, 2026February 27, 2026 by John Lawless

When we spoke with Tina Adair in January about her amazing weight loss journey, she intimated that news about her new band would be forthcoming. And so it has come to be.

We are delighted to introduce you to the Acoustic Social Club, with Tina Adair and Kim Fox. They describe the new act thusly:

“Take one part fun, add a jigger of bluegrass along with three-part harmony and you’ll get a glimpse of what it’s like to be a member of the Acoustic Social Club.”

If you had seen Sister Sadie when Tina was serving as a founding member, you know that she is the life of the party, and a real barrel of fun, though a somewhat smaller barrel these days. All that on top of her prodigious vocal chops and mandolin work.

Add in the singing and guitar playing of Kim Fox, and her brother Joel on banjo and guitar, and you have the makings of dynamic and soulful trio harmony. Kim and Joel were part of The Fox Family and 3 Fox Drive for many years, who had their own successful runs as a bluegrass act.

The Acoustic Social Club is completed with Casey Freeland on bass and vocals, and Andrew Morton on fiddle.

Adair is psyched in a major way to launch this new effort.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am about this new band! It’s been a few years since I’ve been onstage (apart from a few shows here and there), and I am so ready to get back out there! I’m healthier, stronger, and more inspired – mind and body – and entertaining and performing for people is truly what I love most.

I couldn’t think of four better people to be making music with right now, than Kim, Joel, Casey, and Andrew!

So come see us, have some fun and join the club!”

Kim feels the same way.

“The Acoustic Social Club is more than just another bluegrass band. It’s a destination—an experience. We want people to smile when they think about us, whether it’s from something we played onstage, or a song of ours that pops into their head on a random Tuesday.

This band has breathed new life into me musically, and I can’t imagine sharing this journey with anyone other than these four incredible people. What we’re building together feels special, and we hope everyone who hears us feels a little of that spark too.”

Unsurprisingly, Joel has the same vibe.

“Really excited to be playing and singing with Kim, Tina and the rest of the Acoustic Social Club.”

This does promise to be an entertaining stage show with beautiful singing. Look for their debut performance at Nashville’s Station Inn on March 20.

We sure can’t wait to hear them!
