2026 Bluegrass Grammy winner

This afternoon in Los Angeles, the 2026 Grammy Premiere Awards ceremony is being held, where the honors are handed out for all the musical categories deemed too niche for the big evening broadcast, more than 80 in total.

Of course, this is where the all-important award for Best Bluegrass Album is given out, and the 2026 Bluegrass Grammy goes to:

Highway Prayers – Billy Strings

Bluegrass-adjacent I’m With Her picked up a trophy for Best Americana Roots Song for Ancient Light, and for Best Folk Album, Wide and Clear and Blue.

Sierra Hull did a great job hosting a segment of the show, though sadly, not the one with the Best Bluegrass Album award. Probably because she was nominated.

The live TV broadcast for the more pop-oriented categories is set for 8:00 p.m. tonight, to be aired on CBS and Paramount television.
