Brad Kaylor & Mineral Bluff Revue to Huckleberry Records

Huckleberry Records, an affiliated label with Turnberry Records in Nashville, has announced the signing of Brad Kaylor & Mineral Bluff Revue. Their recorded debut, a song titled My Last Name, is slated for release on March 13.

Mineral Bluff Revue is a six-piece contemporary bluegrass band from Georgia, headed up by Kaylor on bass and lead vocals. The group boasts three other singers in Chris Pope on guitar, Kenneth Rymer on mandolin and reso-guitar, and Hayden Bramlett on banjo. Dylan Smith on lead guitar and John Rice on fiddle complete the lineup.

Label head Keith Barnacastle reports that they are delighted with this latest signee.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Brad Kaylor & Mineral Bluff Revue to the Huckleberry Records family. We are so excited to be part of Mineral Bluff Revue’s debut recording, and help to introduce them to bluegrass listeners…we really think they’re going to like what they hear!

My Last Name is a strong first statement and an ideal way to begin this journey together.”

And Kaylor speaks quite highly of Barnacastle and crew.

“We are excited and honored to be with Huckleberry Records. Keith and his team have been so welcoming, and they hit the ground running from day one. We are looking forward to our debut single release and the new album, and we are eager for everyone to hear the music.”

While the Revue has nothing recorded yet in the studio., here’s a recent live video from Everett’s Music Barn to give you a taste of their sound, on a song written by Rick Lang called Heart Strings.

We’ll be looking out for My Last Name in March.
